Ken Williams is KenAnCo's founder and lead analyst. After graduating as a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech, Ken completed a 22-year career in the United States Air Force, serving seven years as a computer systems officer and 15 years as a scientific analyst. For ten years following that, he worked as a biostatistician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, starting as a staff member of the Department of Medicine and later joining the faculty as an associate before becoming an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Urology.
A primary focus of his research was developing epidemiological models to assess individual risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or prostate cancer.
Ken was one of the first 71 individuals certified by the Amerian Statistical Association as a Professional Statistician.

Derlene is KenAnCo's Business Manager. She ran her own medical transcription service for 20+ years. Her understanding of medical terminology and human biology has proven to be quite valuable in a number of Ken's biostatistical projects.
